Rocking It Out at New Orleans in Arrowtown!!

Our top band rocked it out at the New Orleans Bar in Arrowtown on Friday, 12 November.  The group were kindly invited by the Lynch Mob to come on down share the stage in memory of their musically talented father, Kevin Lynch.

The very talented group of musicians ranging from 9 - 13 years old entertained the crowd for 30 minutes opening up with a Black Eyed Peas hit "Let's Get It Started" and kept the crowd dancing with The B52's "Love Shack", another Black Eyed Pea's song "I Gotta Feeling", Aretha Franklin's "Respect", they had to have a great kiwi classic "Melting Pot" and finished up with Cee Lo Green's "Forget You".

These young people certainly blew the crowd away with their skills and confidence.  Well done gang!! You certainly showed them what we are capable of at Arrowtown Primary School!

E I A I E - Room 13

Kia ora whanau,

This is what we are learning in Performing Arts at the moment. We are learning about how cultures tell stories and share messages through their music.  This song also demonstrates our ability to sing different parts at the same time during the chorus.  We hope you enjoy it.
